Inspiration

My inspiration for GospelciseKick™ was my dad, Rev. George D. Watford. (my parents are featured in the photo above) Before his death he suffered a heart condition wherein he had to undergo bypass surgery. Thereafter, my dad was forced to enter into an exercise program which he hated. He was often found reading his newspaper on a treadmill while the other class was walking around doing their laps. I begin to visit my dad and work with him in several exercises. I cherish these memories and he encouraged me by saying that I made him feel good, and that I should pursue this further. It was not until a year later, that I became certified in fitness and working with young and old in the fitness industry, and receive the same feedback, that "I make people feel good." That is one of the reasons I call "GospelciseKick" a ministry. There is always time to share God's goodness in the class.

10 Scripture Readings

1. ". . . know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye were bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. I Corinthians 6:19-20

2. "And all things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22

3. "Be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2

4. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely, this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Mark 12:30-31

5. "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he . . . " Proverbs 23:7

6. And the apostles said unto the Lord, "Increase our faith." And the Lord said, "if ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and it should obey you." Luke 17: 5-6

7. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

8. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that our labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58

9. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22:32

10. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
