10 FITNESS TIPS

1. Visit your doctor for a routine physical.

2. Take one step at a time. Set goals of how much weight you want to lose.

3. Pray daily. Ask God to help to keep you motivated and your mind on Him. Then ask Him to give you strength you will need to begin eating healthy.

4. Drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.

5. Get busy. . . instead of driving all the time, park your car and walk.

6. Get active around the house. Put on some gospel music and do you house chores to the upbeat music and be thankful for God's goodness to you. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing." (Psalms 100:1-2)

7. Play outdoors with your kids. Celebrate the lives of your children!

8. Make time for yourself each day. Join an aerobic class. "Where two or three are gathered in my name there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)

9. Don't buy junk food from the grocery store.
